The Alexandria Fair and Horse Show is one of the oldest Fairs in the Commonwealth. Celebrating 157 years of service to the Community and in the original location since 1856. The Fair is held each year over the Labor Day Weekend beginning on the Wednesday before Labor Day through the Labor Day holiday. The Fair starts on the Wednesday before Labor Day with a parade, free admission, and family activities. Admission to the Fair on all other days is $8.00 per person over the age of 3. Admission includes all events and most rides as noted in the Fair Catalog. Those under 6 must purchase a $8.00 ticket to ride. Parking is free.
